Greetings!  Little did I know growing up what it was that would finally break open my heart!  I could never figure out a job, profession or a title that I wanted to "own".  In fact, I was pretty sure there was a missing link inside me.  But at age 38 when I faced my first tragic loss in life, things changed.  I had a choice to continue down the road of, trying/striving/failing, or to consider the unknown path to "God" through Christianity.  Thankfully, I chose the latter.  It was at that time a beautiful, much needed, new beginning.  I began to believe there was a power greater than my small self that I could trust.  But it didn't end there!

Fast forward 20 years.  I had been very involved in the church, leading bible studies and becoming director of women's ministries.  I was happier than I'd ever been.  Yet, there was a voice inside me questioning some of the beliefs of the evangelical church.  I could not believe in a punitive "god"....when what I experienced was God who was pure Love.  I was troubled by the idea that Jesus was the only way to heaven and all those who hadn't found him were doomed for hell.  About this same time, I was introduced to Father Richard Rohr's book, "Falling Upward." What he wrote put words to everything that had been bubbling up inside me for years. It was at that point that I began the contemplative journey and have never looked back.  I was no longer afraid to learn and incorporate teachings from other faith traditions; even Eastern traditions that actually unveiled a beautiful understanding of who Jesus was and his teachings.

So here I am beginning my 7th decade and desire nothing more than to help point others to their own Innate Wisdom and to find what is available to all of us.....not somewhere "out there" but deep within.

Ricky lives in Bend, Oregon with the love of her life and husband, Larry.  Both would agree that life's best gifts are their children: Kelly and son-in-law, Donn; Rob and daughter-in-law, Lindsey.

In her spare time, Ricky loves to create; whether it's cooking, writing, art, or coming up with new ways to help others find their way back to their own Innate Wellbeing. 

Last, but not least, Fynlee, Ricky's 7 year old golden retriever, has her heart; reminding her what Unconditional Love looks like.  Not only does Fynlee provide lots of laughter but is also a great hiking partner!
